UH Libraries’ New Digital Exhibit: Tenure and Promotion Recognition Program

The University of Houston celebrated the accomplishments of tenured and promoted faculty and librarians at a reception held this spring. The UH Tenure and Promotion Recognition Program was created to honor faculty and librarians who have recently achieved tenure or have been promoted. In the program’s inaugural year, 2015 honorees were invited to select a book that has offered inspiration and encouragement in their professional journey. Honorees and their book selections can be viewed on the Tenure and Promotion Recognition Program Digital Exhibit, created in Omeka. (More…)
UNT Libraries TRAC Self-Audit

The UNT Libraries’ Digital Collections recently completed a self-audit of their digital repository policies, documentation, and infrastructure in accordance with the Trustworthy Repositories Audit & Certification: Criteria and Checklist (TRAC). The goal of this audit was to formalize processes and create documentation necessary for the operation of a trusted digital repository. UTMB Digital Repository highlights medical history collections

The Moody Medical Library at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston features a set of medical history collections in its TDL-hosted DSpace repository. These collections feature digitized photographs, journals, historical postcards, and other materials that are part of the Moody Library’s Blocker History of Medicine Collections. (More…)
