New Texas Data Repository tutorial: How to Write a README File

The Texas Data Repository Steering Committee (TDRSC) has created a new video resource for TDR depositors aimed at helping researchers create useful README files that provide comprehensive descriptions of deposited datasets and make it possible for users to understand and re-use the data.

The video is narrated by Jane Scott, TDRSC member from UT Southwestern Medical Center, and co-produced by members from UT Southwestern, Baylor University, and Texas State University. It is part of the Texas Data Repository Training Series available on the Texas Digital Library Youtube channel.

The Texas Data Repository is a platform for publishing and archiving datasets and other data products created by faculty, staff, and students at Texas higher education institutions. To learn more about the Texas Data Repository, please visit this page.
