The full TCDL 2015 program will be chock full of workshop and demo offerings, but the Program Committee is especially pleased to offer a special pre-conference training opportunity on Karma, an open source tool for converting data from a variety of formats into Linked Data. The workshop will introduce the basic capabilities of Karma and provide attendees with hands on training in the tool.  The workshop will take place Sunday, April 26 from 1-5 PM in the Perry-Castañeda Library. The cost to attend is $25. Space is limited so register today!

Other workshops, tutorials, and birds-of-a-feather sessions have been posted. These events are FREE with conference registration, but advanced registration is required. Learn more about workshops and events HERE. They include:

Network.

TCDL 2015 will introduce an exciting new opportunity to gather information, extend conversations or just take a break with colleagues: the TCDLounge! We’ve arranged a comfortable area for attendees to check email, watch or deliver a demo, chat with a friend from another institution – or your own! – or just settle in with a cup of coffee. The TCDLounge will be located in Room 104 of the conference facility and will be open during conference hours. You’ll even be able to arrange times for meetings or demos: Just use the sign-up board at the registration desk and the Twitter hashtag #tcdlounge to arrange for and keep track of meet-ups!
