TCDL 2010: Extended deadline for proposal submissions

Texas Conference on Digital LibrariesThe deadline for submission of abstracts and proposals for the 2010 Texas Conference on Digital Libraries has been extended to Monday, April 5, 2010.

TCDL 2010 continues to welcome submissions for the following two venues for participation in the conference:

Poster presentations

Those interested in presenting a poster should submit an abstract via the online submission system (login required). The poster session will take place at a reception on the evening of May 17 and will be preceded by a “Minute Madness” presentation. Participants in the poster session will have the opportunity to share the vital work they are doing at their institutions and to engage in discussion that might lead to new ideas and insights. Posters may, but are not required to, fit the conference theme of Collaboration.

Workshops and Forums

TCDL 2010 has several meeting rooms available on the afternoon of May 18 for TDL members to hold forums and workshops on issues relevant to digital libraries and scholarly communication. Anyone interested in reserving one of these rooms should submit an abstract via the online submission system that includes the title of the forum/workshop, names of workshop leaders, and a description of the meeting and its proposed agenda.
